Presently, Arijit is a faculty member at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Kaohsiung, Taiwan. From 2018 to 2020, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at NSYSU. He has completed his Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dhanbad, Dhanbad, India in 2018. He had spent two sparkling years of his student life at Pondicherry University, Puducherry, India, doing a Master's (M.Sc.) in computer science and had graduated (B.Sc.) from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira (affiliated to CU), Howrah, India.
Born and brought up in Howrah, he completed his initial studies at Bantra Madhusudan Pal Choudhury High School, Howrah, India.
Dr. Karati was awarded with the Postdoctoral Fellowship and the 108th Postdoctoral Researcher Academic Research Award from the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC, f.k.a., MOST) Taiwan in 2019 and 2020, respectively. Besides, he was a recipient of the Outstanding Paper Award at the 2018 International Computer Symposium conference in Taiwan.
Arijit has more than five years of teaching and eight years of research experience. He published over forty-five research articles and was a reviewer in many reputed (inter)national journals and conferences. He served as a session chair and has given invited talks at several reputed conferences, and served as a reviewer/TPC member in multiple highly reputed international journals/conferences. Besides, he is a senior member of IEEE and a Professional Member of ACM.
His research interests include applied cryptology, cybersecurity, network/communication protection, automotive security, and decentralized data privacy.

It has always been Arijit's target to be a part of a challenging team, which strives for betterment, explores his potential, and allows him to enhance his skills to develop him as an asset to the organization. He hopes the interaction with them will broaden his perspective and enable him to think differently, thereby improving his personality as a whole. He believes that his association with the existing team would be pleasant, allowing him to introduce research projects if required. Arijit sincerely hopes that he can achieve the goal of success with high-class valuable guidance from senior members of the organization. He believes the organization will satiate his thirst for knowledge. He always looks forward to a challenging career and an enriching experience.
Arijit believes that a certificate does not guarantee your success; instead, it is an entry pass for the next big success! Apart from studies, he is strongly inclined to play cricket, photography, traveling, carom, and table tennis.
